About The Venue

Stratton Court Barn, built in 1870, is a beautiful barn wedding venue in Stratton Audley, North Oxfordshire; its rural setting being the ideal location to host your function.  As you drive through the main gates and along the drive, you immediately realise why the owners fell in love with the property.

The venue has a ceremony license for 90 guests. Guests are seated in a lovely half moon shape, everyone has the best seat in the house. Framed by the barn doors, the registrar will lead you through your ceremony.

Our newly built Bridal Preparation Room is the perfect place to get ready on the morning of your wedding.

You’ll find a make-up counter with Simple Human mirrors, bathroom stocked with Jo Malone products, comfortable armchairs, hooks set high to ensure wrinkle-free dresses and, of course, a full-length mirror to admire the full effect once dressed!

There are numerous photo opportunities in the Wigmore’s private garden, the tree lined driveway and the front lawn that’s flanked by roses and lavender.

At Stratton Court Barn we let you choose from a list  of approved caterers  to suit your particular requirements and budget.

We wouldn’t have changed a single thing and recommend eloping to everyone- after all a wedding is about two people not two hundred!!
